Michael Topola, CLU, CHFC, MFA
Financial Advisor
I was born in small town Saskatchewan and grew up on a family farm. That instilled in me a work ethic that helped sustain me through public and high school as well as two university degrees. I entered the insurance business in September 1978. In the early years, I acquired the Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designation as well as Chartered Financial Consultant (CHFC) designation, both of which helped build my practice. The presentation of hundreds of Farm Estate Planning seminars in rural Saskatchewan in those early years further helped develop a solid practice in the areas of investments, and life insurance as well as retirement and estate planning. Currently, with the completion of the Master Financial Adviser (MFA) designation, I continue to work in these areas as well as in the intergenerational transfer of small business.
When I am not working, I enjoy travelling, playing golf and spending time with my family. I am married to Leslie who has a successful career in our Public Health System. I am the proud father of Erika and Kelsey, strong and successful young women building their own professional careers and families.
